Hello! I had this same problem, basically, the media buttons on my Logitech K360 (wireless) wouldn't work at all, tried the fixes proposed here with no success (or partial, like the keys working with SetPoint not running), but then I found a fix that totally worked for me and here it is: Simply make sure there is nothing with "wmplayer.exe" in the players.ini anymore. MSMedia7=wac,wmplayerDEACTIVATED.exe,WMP Skin Host,Windows Media Player,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Windows Media Player 7 MSMedia9=wac,wmplayerDEACTIVATED.exe,WMPlayerApp,Windows Media Player,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Windows Media Player 9 You can edit the players.ini just like this: Just make sure SetPoint isn't capable of adressing wmplayer.exe anymore. I tried several things so kill the wmplayer.exe but it kept comming back (Must be some SideShow or Media Sharing shizzle). As long as you have that wmplayer.exe running the keyboard won't work. SetPoint apparently addreses WMP before ITunes and that is the problem. In addition, you mentioned the Windows Media Player process. They changed it recently back to "ITunes", so the "ITWindow" fix needs to be undone. Your post finally let me solve this issue!Īpple changed the Window Class from "ITunes" to "ITWindow" for a certain amount of version. TL DR: What solved the problem for me: Edit the "wmplayer.exe" entries in the "players.ini" in case of WMP is coming back, eventhough you kill it with the task manager (Since SetPoint somehow adresses WMP before ITunes).
